Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:
As the Senior Quality Specialist - Training, you build consistent quality capability across internal teams, vendors and factory quality personnel. You translate Arc'teryx quality standards and technical product requirements into practical learning, assessment and certification programs. A key focus is strengthening the Factory Certified Auditor (FCA) program with our quality specialists through disciplined preparation, effective facilitation, objective competency assessment and ongoing calibration.
This role can be hired remote. Business operations occur on Vietnam time zone (no relocation/visa sponsorship available for this role)
Meet Your Future Team:
You will join the Global Quality team and work closely with regional quality teams, vendors, factories and cross-functional partners. The team strengthens quality assurance and quality control systems across product development, manufacturing and final product release, while building sustainable capability within the supply base.
If you were in the Senior Quality Specialist, Training role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Develop and implement the Global Quality training strategy and annual capability development roadmap based on business priorities, audit findings, quality risks, recurring defects, and vendor capability gaps.
Serve as the lead trainer and subject matter expert for the Factory Certified Auditor (FCA) program, establishing and driving a Train-the-Trainer framework to build training capability within the Quality Specialist (QS) team.
Coach, qualify, and certify Quality Specialists as FCA trainers, ensuring consistent training methodology, assessment standards, certification criteria, and governance across all sourcing regions.
Manage the end-to-end FCA certification program, including training preparation, curriculum development, candidate readiness assessment, training delivery, auditor evaluation, certification decisions, calibration, recertification, and continuous competency development.
Design, develop, and deliver quality training programs for internal teams, Quality Specialists, vendors, factories, and external partners through classroom, virtual, and factory-floor learning environments.
Translate quality standards, SOPs, inspection criteria, and product technical specifications into practical training materials, visual learning tools, workshops, and competency assessments.
Assess learner competency through knowledge verification, on-the-job evaluations, and certification assessments, providing coaching and development plans where required.
Partner with HQ & HKO Quality Specialist teams to identify capability gaps and ensure training content remains aligned with current products, process, and quality requirements.
Maintain training governance, including training records, competency matrices, certification status, assessment evidence, recertification requirements, and controlled training documentation.
Measure training effectiveness through competency assessment results, defect reduction, first-time yield improvement, repeat finding reduction, and corrective action closure performance, using data to drive continuous improvement.
Continuously improve training methodologies, learning content, and certification processes through feedback, benchmarking, root cause analysis, and quality best practices.
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
Building a scalable regional quality academy and train-the-trainer framework for internal and external quality partners.
Standardizing Factory Certified Auditor (FCA) qualification, calibration, recertification and governance across sourcing regions.
Using training and quality-performance data to identify capability risks, prioritize interventions and demonstrate measurable business impact.
Supporting onboarding and capability development for new vendors, new factories and new quality team members.
