Senior Technician, Test

Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test Bench Troubleshooting
Performance Criteria: Respond quickly to test bench abnormalities; accurate judgment and fast repair; minimize production downtime.
Handle on-site failures such as test bench communication errors, abnormal commands, fixture damage and test interruptions.
Quickly locate electrical, communication or mechanical faults of test stations.
Repair or replace faulty parts in time and feed back problems to engineers.
Summarize common faults and optimize simple maintenance methods.
Test Bench Setup & Daily Maintenance Performance Criteria
Test benches are set up correctly on time; daily maintenance is in place; equipment running rate meets production requirements.
Responsible for on-site setup, wiring, power-on and commissioning of production line test benches.
Carry out daily inspection, cleaning and maintenance of test equipment and fixtures.
Manage and calibrate test fixtures, cables and tools to ensure compliance.
Record maintenance records and equipment status daily.
Assist Test Engineers & Production Support Performance Criteria
Complete auxiliary work efficiently; support production and engineering tasks on time.
Assist test engineers in verifying new test plans and new test environments.
Collect test data, sort out test records and fill in production reports.
Cooperate to complete trial run and mass production support of test stations.
Site Management & Team Cooperation Performance Criteria
Test site is tidy; records are complete; cooperate well with teams to meet production needs.
Maintain 5S of test area and manage fixtures and materials.
Cooperate with PE, production and quality teams to solve on-site problems.
Complete other temporary work assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
Educational Background: Intermediate or College Graduate in a relevant technical field is required, preferably in
Electronic Information Engineering, Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, Communication Engineering, or a related discipline
Working Experience
From 6 years working experience in electronic manufacturing or optical communication production line.
Experience in test bench maintenance, equipment debugging or optical module production test is preferred.
