About Lucy in the Sky
Founded in Los Angeles in 2015, Lucy in the Sky is an established American womenswear brand specializing in trend-driven dresses and occasionwear for young women.
Our collections focus on what our customers want to wear now - from birthday parties and celebrations to homecoming, prom and nights out.
We operate a fast-moving e-commerce business serving customers across the United States.
Our Head of Design is now based in Vietnam. Through Tourane Apparel, our established development and production company in Da Nang, we already operate a design and sampling studio and work closely with manufacturing partners.
We are now planning a second design studio in Ho Chi Minh City and are looking for an experienced womenswear designer to join our growing team.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a designer with excellent commercial fashion instincts, strong technical understanding and genuine enthusiasm for contemporary women's fashion.
You will work directly alongside our Head of Design, initially learning Lucy in the Sky's product identity, customers and bestselling styles.
As you develop your understanding of the brand, you will take increasing responsibility for identifying trends, proposing new designs and developing products through to production-ready samples.
This is an opportunity to work on real collections for an established international brand, with the potential to grow into a Design Lead position.
