The Job:
As a Shipping Specialist, you will join the Hand Tools and Storage team at Compass II (a subsidiary of Stanley Black & Decker). In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing import-export formalities to drive business goals while adhering to company and local legal regulations. Your responsibilities will include closely coordinating with customs brokers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate customs declarations and the successful delivery of shipments to both internal and external customers, meeting their expectations for quantity and quality.
You will be working in VSIP 1, Binh Duong and total working hours is 48 hours weekly.
You'll get to:
- In charge of both Import and Export processes at the organization.
- Support team leader in preparing an Annual Customs Report.
- Execute import and export delivery/trucking procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor the progress and manage the journey of goods, ensuring strict control over the quality and quantity of goods.
- Collaborate with customs brokers, forwarders, procurement, warehouse, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate import-export formalities smoothly.
- Archive customs and shipping documents in compliance with company and local regulations.
- Proactively resolve any problems that may arise during import-export activities, ensuring minimal disruption to the shipment process.
- Prepare and provide necessary documents to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of import-export documents and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with the Planning team and Warehouse to execute shipping operations according to customer requests.
- Collaborate with the Finance department to verify payments and facilitate the payment process to relevant vendors.
- Prepare periodic shipping reports and other required reports accurately and promptly.
