The Job

Location: Ho Chi Minh City
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Head of Engineering

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance system architectures, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and establishing DevOps best practices. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

System Architecture Design:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design scalable and resilient system architectures.
• Architect and optimize microservices and event-driven architectures for scalability and performance.

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS & GCP):

• Lead cloud-native architecture on AWS & GCP, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Implement and manage cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda (AWS) and GCE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery (GCP).

DevOps & CI/CD:

• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments for production and staging environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker to manage cloud infrastructure efficiently.
• Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

Performance Optimization & Security:

• Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with standards such as OWASP, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, improving query efficiency and indexing strategies.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

• Work closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to provide architectural guidance and technical expertise.
• Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Your Skills and Experience

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the technology industry, with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect or Technical Lead role.

Technical Skills:
✅ System Architecture: Microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems.
✅ Cloud Infrastructure: Strong expertise in AWS or GCP.
✅ DevOps & CI/CD: Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker.
✅ Database Management: Expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, optimizing performance and scalability.
✅ Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of API security, data protection, and cloud governance policies.
✅ Monitoring & Logging: Experience in system monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications:
➕ AWS/GCP certifications (AWS Solution Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
➕ Experience with Serverless Architecture, Event-Driven Systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
➕ Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the tech community.
