Sr. IT Support Solution Engineer AWS

We are looking for Senior IT Support and Solution Engineer - Level 3

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the management of specialist IT areas, ensuring all application, hardware and cloud-based requirements are met across customer portfolios
2. Prepare technical documents, designs, solution completion process and procedural documentation, for specialised areas requiring support
3. Maintain on going implementation of software license services, to ensure the software/lease lifecycle is continually maintained and running
4. Support AWS, Azure, Office 365, IP Telephony Solutions, Data Security, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Networking, Security Solution (and any other technologies) environments for customers
5. Resolve Level 3 tickets, complete audits identifying trends and determining system improvements to implement change, while ensuring customer service standards are met
6. Ensure ConnectWise tickets are closed once satisfactorily completed, in line with structured SLA's, while maintaining accurate and timely ConnectWise and Service Desk database records, keeping the customer informed of the progress
7. Provide recommendations on operational processes and drive change, by improving quality results
8. Contribute to the monitoring and review of the services provided by Support Services, working with the leadership team to provide analysis and recommendations for Service Improvements
9. Develop, document and design solutions for new IT services, to drive engineering requirements and deliverables. Provide recommendations on new IT initiatives and prepare plans and requirements, as required
10. Have the ability to work effectively in collaboration with remote teammates
11. Participate in IT project groups requiring senior solutions and support technical expertise

1. Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships in a collaborative and engaging manner with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
2. Demonstrated analytical and communication skills
3. Experience in these technologies:
   • AWS
   • Azure
   • Office 365
   • IP Telephony solutions and Teams Telephony
   • Data Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
   • Networking (SD-WAN, Firewalls, Remote Access, 802.11 series APs)
   • Security Solutions (Cisco, Fortinet, ZScaler, etc.)
4. Deep experience with MS Server OSes both on and off AWS and/or Azure
5. Solid experience within a Technical IT environment working on small, medium, and large-scale projects
6. Demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, in conflicting issues
7. An ability to learn and grow in a fast-moving environment by never neglecting the experience and the training offered
8. SD-WAN design and support
9. Printer networking experience
10. WebApp support and administration (e.g [protected info], Slack, and Office 365)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent work experience
• Certifications in three or more of the following: Azure, AWS, Cisco, Microsoft, Sophos, Networking or ConnectWise
