Job Overview:
PANDORA Production Vietnam is looking for a Supervisor, Chemistry to oversee and optimize electroplating and chemical plating processes to ensure high-performance coatings meet company standards.
Key duties:
1 - Plating Process Management:
• Develop, monitor, and optimize electroplating process, such as copper, palladium, gold, rhodium plating.
• Maintain proper chemical balances in plating baths and troubleshoot process issues.
• Conduct process improvements to enhance plating efficiency and reduce defects.
2 - Chemical Analysis & Maintenance:
• Perform routine chemical analysis of plating solutions and adjust compositions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain bath parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
3 -Quality Control & Testing:
• Conduct laboratory tests for plating thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and appearance.
• Work closely with the quality team to resolve non-conformance issues.
• Document test results and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
4 - Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations for hazardous chemicals.
• Implement best practices for waste treatment and pollution control.
• Maintain SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and ensure proper chemical storage/handling.
5 -Research & Development:
• Develop and test new plating formulations for improved performance and durability.
• Collaborate with R&D teams for new product development and innovation.
• Stay updated with advancements in plating technologies and materials.
6 - Technical Support & Documentation:
• Provide technical guidance to production teams for troubleshooting plating issues.
• Prepare SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Train operators and technicians on plating chemistry and best practices.

Yêu cầu
What is needed to succeed:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in electroplating, electroless plating, or surface treatment.
- Strong knowledge of plating techniques (Copper, Gold, Rhodium, etc.).
- Proficiency in chemical analysis methods (titration, spectroscopy, pH/conductivity testing).
- Understanding of process control and quality standards.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Certifications (Preferred): Six Sigma, ISO 9001/14001, or related industry certifications.
- Able to work under pressure of time limitation and high accuracy.
- Must be a meticulous person.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English communication.
