Supplier Engineer

• Own supplier development, qualification, performance across company portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring that materials, manufacturing processes, and supplier execution consistently deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable products that meet user expectations.
• You will operate at the intersection of materials, manufacturing, and reliability, proactively identifying risks, strengthening supplier processes, and driving excellence from concept through mass production and field performance.
• Establish and improve supplier process controls, including defining critical-to-quality characteristics, inspection strategies, and control plans to reduce variation and defects
• Partner with Reliability Engineering to validate test methods and ensure materials and processes meet real-world use and lifecycle expectations
• Support NPI builds (EVT, DVT, PVT) and production ramp by driving supplier readiness, resolving manufacturability risks, and ensuring robust quality systems are in place
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for supplier-related issues, connecting field performance insights back to systemic supplier improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical Engineering, Reliability, Sourcing, Quality, and Operations to align design intent with manufacturing execution
