Job description Summary
A factory supply chain and production planner coordinates material availability, factory capacity, and manufacturing schedules to turn customer demand into finished goods on time.

KEY Responsibilities
Supply Chain - 80%
• Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including purchasing, material planning, logistics, import/export, and delivery coordination.
• Coordinate with Sales/CS, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Prepare and follow up purchase orders, contracts, and supplier quotations in accordance with the company Purchasing Policy.
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers to ensure materials are available on time and at competitive costs.
• Follow up import/export shipments, customs clearance, forwarders, shipping lines, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Warehouse and Production to avoid shortages or excessive stock.
• Follow up supplier performance, including price, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Coordinate payment documents and resolve issues related to purchasing and logistics with Finance.
• Maintain proper SCM documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and local regulations.
• Identify supply chain risks and propose solutions to improve cost, efficiency, and service levels.
Production Planning - 20%
• Prepare and monitor production plans based on customer demand, material availability, and production capacity.
• Coordinate with Production (Factory Manager and shift leader) and relevant departments to manage schedule changes, resolve delays or capacity constraints, and ensure timely production.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data trends, forecast errors, and inventory levels.
• Software Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP systems specialized production scheduling tools.
• Quick response time when suppliers fail to deliver or machines break down.
