Operational Execution
- Coordinate vessel planning and identify solutions to ensure on-time shipment departure and stock availability.
- Manage and optimize load plans for consolidation to maximize container fill and reduce cost per single.
- Work with suppliers and 3PLs to resolve shipment planning issues (Sea, Sea-Air, Air, or other modes).
- Communicate exceptions clearly to internal stakeholders and seek approvals for proposed resolutions.
- Monitor and manage carrier space and equipment issues with local partners.
- Track seasonal programs and ad-hoc cargo projects, ensuring smooth execution.
- Escalate service provider performance issues where appropriate to support continuous improvement.
- Monitor and drive supplier OTIF performance through regular follow-up with suppliers and
merchandisers.
- Manage operational cut-offs during holiday and peak seasons.
Compliance & Process Adherence
- Monitor supplier shipment exceptions and proactively drive compliance with performance KPIs.
- Ensure all documentation complies with destination requirements and SOP standards.
- Lead supplier training (in-person or online) to align with process updates and best practices.
PO & Admin Support
- Track exception reports and work with Merchandising on timely PO follow-up
- Support PO visibility and launch readiness, feeding updates to the UK Inbound team.
- Validate and process freight invoices within required service level agreements.
- Identify cost-effective shipping options and resolve hub shipment issues in a timely manner.
General & Strategic Support
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and regional process improvement.
- Support regional reporting and assist with the implementation of strategic supply chain initiatives.
- Ensure SOPs are followed by service providers and suppliers, initiating updates where needed.
- Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned by the line manager.
- Tertiary education with 3-5 years' experience in sourcing, logistics, or supply chain preferred.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and reliable with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in English and local language;
- SAP and Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
