Swine Technical Sales Manager

1. PURPOSE
Professional attitude in the field to join our team and provide crucial support to our key-account, sales, in delivering animal health, farm management solutions, and product applications specifically tailored to the livestock production sector in Vietnam. This role will focus on the Vietnam Complete Feed market, working across a range of products including complete feed, specialties, premixes, and concentrates, particularly for the swine segment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting product and services across the country of Vietnam and Cambodia positioning and delivering service to our customers and comply with local regulations.
This position will collaborate closely with our CD&D formulation teams in the design and development of new products, as well as the enhancement of existing ones. The scope of this role includes ensuring the quality and efficacy of our complete feed, premixes, and concentrates, in line with customer. A key part of the job will be coordinating with commercial and technical executive teams to uphold our quality management systems, ensuring consistent service delivery.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing technical training and ongoing support to local sales and technical teams, distributors, and other stakeholders involved in product and business development. This role is critical in driving and motivating technical executives to deliver timely and effective customer service at the farm level, contributing to the overall success of our livestock production solutions.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1. Technical Services & Business Development Support:
This role involves conducting farm audits, assessing animal production and management, and providing technical recommendations, services, and training based on these evaluations. The candidate will support nutritional planning and formulation for prospects and customers, focusing on business development in feed additives, specialties, premixes, and concentrates. They will also assist in the quality assessment of raw materials at farms and feed mills, provide training on good practices to customers, and help evaluate business performance, including marketing effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Additionally, they will offer technical diagnostics and solutions to address customer complaints and support business retention efforts.
2.2. Training & Product Development Support
This role supports R&D, Creation, Design & Development, and Life Cycle Management teams in designing product development trials, while also aiding in the evaluation of potential areas for product innovation and identifying market needs to validate strategic focus areas. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for training internal teams and distributors on product applications, nutrition, animal management, and animal health, ensuring comprehensive understanding and effective implementation.
2.3. Quality Assurance & Formulation Support:
This role involves close cooperation with nutritionists and formulators in the Creation, Design & Development and Life Cycle Management teams, focusing on swine nutrition. The candidate will also work with Quality Assurance teams to assess the quality of raw materials and ingredients, ensuring they meet standards for both swine and human health. Additionally, they will provide technical recommendations for addressing non-conformities, including guidelines for reprocessing or rejecting products, while supporting formulation teams in the study and application of raw materials based on nutritional and practical considerations for swine.
