Own Tax Excellence (Compliance & Technical Leadership)
- Lead tax compliance across MoMo and its subsidiaries
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all tax filings (VAT, CIT, FCT, etc.)
- Review and validate accounting documents in line with evolving tax regulations
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance for complex tax matters
Lead External Engagement & Tax Defense
- Act as the primary interface with tax authorities (Large Enterprise / E-commerce Tax Department)
- Own tax audit and inspection processes end-to-end:
- Positioning & defense strategy
- Data reconciliation & documentation
- Direct negotiation with authorities
- Collaborate with Big4 and external advisors on complex cases
Drive Business Impact through Tax Advisory
- Partner with Product, Finance, and Legal to support new initiatives (e-wallet, BNPL, installments, loyalty, promotions, etc.)
- Assess tax implications and ensure readiness before product launch
- Advise on optimal tax structures aligned with business models
- Provide tax guidance across subsidiaries
Build Tax Governance & Risk Control
- Proactively identify tax risks and lead mitigation strategies
- Drive quarterly tax risk reviews with actionable insights
- Establish scalable processes, controls, and frameworks to strengthen tax governance
Yêu cầu
- 5+ years of tax experience in Big4 / fintech / e-commerce / digital business
- Proven track record working directly with Hanoi tax authorities (digital/e-commerce)
- Hands-on experience in tax audits, inspections, and dispute handling
- Strong understanding of business models: marketplace, payment, e-wallet
- Solid technical foundation with the ability to translate into practical solutions
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- A proactive problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes
