• Identify and execute new business opportunities.
• Spearhead
business development for Key Accounts and manage the project pipeline.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to develop fragrance-related projects for clients.
• Manage pricing strategies to ensure profit margins meet corporate standards.
• Contribute to the formulation of business plans and strategic objectives.
• Develop monthly rolling forecasts.
• Analyze data concerning costs, market trends, business development, and customer insights.
• Resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and legality for all newly developed fragrance materials.
• Orchestrate workshops and presentations regarding market trends for clients.
• Liaise directly with suppliers on technical issues, sampling, pricing, trends, and project reporting.
• Curate a strategic fragrance library at the lab to facilitate business development.
• Perform other duties as requested by the
Sales Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or Industrial/Cosmetic Chemistry.
- Professional working proficiency in English (Communication).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in fragrance sales.
- Proven track record working with major manufacturers in the Chemical, or Household sectors.
- R&D Experience within home and personal care manufacturing companies is a significant advantage.
- Strategic relationship management and client handling experience.
- Industry background from multi-sector chemical distribution or trading companies.
- In-depth knowledge of household fragrance raw materials.
