COMPANY OVERVIEW
Adecco's client is a leading frame & truss design partner in Queensland, Australia, with a growing international team across Australia and Vietnam. AED Vietnam is expanding its local design team, offering Designers an opportunity to work on international projects and build a long-term career in steel design.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Working Location: An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and detail steel structures based on project requirements, technical specifications and relevant standards.
Develop accurate 3D steel models using Tekla Structures and prepare detailed fabrication/structural drawings.
Interpret architectural, engineering and structural drawings to develop appropriate steel design and detailing solutions.
Review models and drawings to identify discrepancies, technical issues and potential design conflicts.
Coordinate with internal teams and Australian project teams to clarify technical requirements and resolve design-related issues.
Ensure assigned projects meet quality standards, technical requirements and agreed timelines.
Continuously improve technical knowledge and stay up to date with relevant steel design and detailing practices.
Participate in knowledge sharing and support team members when required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in steel design and/or steel detailing.

Hands-on experience with Tekla Structures is mandatory

Good understanding of steel structures, technical drawings and detailing principles.
Experience working on Australian projects or with Australian clients is a strong advantage.
English communication skills are an advantage, especially when working with international teams.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering accurate work.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
