Position Title: Test Engineer
Department: Technology

Reports To: Technology Manager
Position Summary
The Test Engineer is responsible for the daily operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) used in production. The role ensures
tester stability, supports failure analysis, and coordinates technical activities with internal teams and the customer's ATE engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily operation and monitoring of ATE test stations in the production line.
• Conduct troubleshooting to identify root causes of test failures (hardware, software, fixture, interface issues).
• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to defined schedules and maintenance procedures.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as cables, sockets, pneumatics, boards, or mechanical parts when required.
• Maintain accurate records of system logs, failure logs, maintenance logs, and repair history.
• Review and understand ATE schematics, wiring diagrams, fixture drawings, and related technical documentation.
• Coordinate with the customer ATE team for escalations, technical support, and new station setup when needed.
• Support improvement activities to enhance test stability, cycle time, and test yield.
• Train and guide technicians/operators on proper tester operation and handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and equipment handling standards.
