Test Engineer

Description
General Purpose:
Test and Validation for Elgato Products involving manual and automated testing. The primary duty is to ensure that products perform their proposed functions in a satisfactory manner. For complex products, such as cameras, capture, microphones and lights, test engineers may specialize in specific tasks, e.g. automated testing.
The testing method depends on the product under test.

Expectations:
Able to complete testing and file results with minimal oversight.
Solid knowledge of PCs, Consoles, Smart devices
Able to trouble shoot across multiple platforms, Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS.
Python skills for test automation
English Level B2 or better
Responsible for:
Complete QA testing for SW and FW of Elgato products
Compiling reports on findings and testing data gathered
Record testing data and analyze results, and file all issues and concerns in bug tracking SW
Providing recommendations and advice to relevant stakeholders
Define and refine testcases
Automate tests where possible and necessary
Essential Skills and Experience:
Graduate from Automation, Informatics, Tele-communication or similar!
Experience in testing or automation is a plus!
Proficient in Python
Ability to communicate in English, written and spoken (intermediate level min. A2)
Self-starter with minimal need for oversight
Independent thinker able to follow instruction.
Teamwork is a must.
