🌟JOB DESCRIPTION
- Job Summary*:
The IT Infrastructure Consultant plays a critical role in bridging customer needs with the technical teams by consulting, designing, and proposing comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions (on-premises, hybrid, and cloud). This presales position works closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical and deployable technical solutions.
The consultant is responsible for solution architecture design (HLD/LLD), preparing technical documents, conducting POCs/demos, and supporting the entire project lifecycle - from presales to deployment and final handover. The role requires in-depth knowledge across modern infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, storage, networking & security, cloud computing, and AI-ready data center infrastructure.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy customer consulting, possess strong technical foundations, good communication skills, are eager to stay updated with emerging technologies, and are looking for long-term career growth in the enterprise IT infrastructure space.
- Key Responsibilities*:
- Engage with customers to understand their business requirements and propose customized infrastructure solutions.
- Design solution architectures (HLD/LLD) for on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Develop technical proposals, solution briefs, and support presales activities (POC, demo, bid response).
- Collaborate with Sales Team through the entire solution lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise on a variety of infrastructure technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, networking, and data protection.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in infrastructure and hybrid IT solutions.
- Qualifications & Skills*:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT consulting.
- Solid knowledge in enterprise infrastructure design, including scalability, redundancy, and availability.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations using PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with top vendors such as Dell, HPE, VMware, Microsoft, and Cisco.
- Preferred technical certifications such as VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, and more.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
