About the Role - Video Editor
Your goal is to produce videos that bring in the highest revenue on Meta Ads.You will receive briefs from the team, while proactively come up with ideas, create scripts, and edit your own videos.You will continuously test new angles, hooks, and concepts for new videos.
Scope of Work - What will you do?
- Edit a minimum of 12 short-form Meta Ads video/week, due on Wednesday and Saturday. Focused on conversions.
- Edit 3 short-form TikTok videos/week. Focused on engagement.
- Use AI and video editing tools to increase production efficiency.
- Attend the weekly Creative Strategy Session every Wednesday with the marketing team to dissect videos, train, and set direction for future videos.
- Stay updated on video advertising trends in the Australia & North America markets.

Candidate Requirements - Who are you?
- At least 2 years of experience editing videos for E-Commerce businesses in Western markets.
- Discipline, self-motivated, proactive, and accountable for deadlines and video performance.
- Clear understanding of the hook - body - CTA structure in video ads.
- Ability to generate ideas, write scripts, and edit high-converting videos.
- Understanding of advertising metrics (CTR, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CVR) to optimize videos.
- Good English skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing).
DON'T APPLY IF YOU...
- Only wait for briefs and don't proactively create ideas or produce videos.
- Only know how to edit based on requests but don't understand advertising performance.
- Lack the mindset of testing - optimising - improving and do not take responsibility for video results.
