Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Vietnamese to English Interpreter. The interpreter will facilitate clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate communication between Vietnamese-speaking and English-speaking parties during virtual calls and online sessions.
Daily responsibilities include interpreting spoken Vietnamese into English and English into Vietnamese in real time, following established protocols and confidentiality standards. The role involves preparing for assignments by reviewing relevant terminology, documenting key information when appropriate, and reporting any issues to supervisors. The interpreter will collaborate with team members, participate in periodic training, and maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Qualifications
Strong Vietnamese and English language proficiency, including excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
Ability to convey meaning accurately and neutrally, with strong cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including clear, concise verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.
Reliable internet connection and basic computer applications.
Capacity to maintain confidentiality, follow established protocols, and adhere to ethical interpreting standards.
