3D Designer (3-month Contract)

About the Role
Dream Station is looking for a creative and detail-oriented 3D Designer to join our event team and bring event concepts to life through 3D visualisation.
You will work closely with our creative, project and production teams to develop 3D concepts, event layouts, spatial designs and visual presentations for corporate events, exhibitions, roadshows, dinners & dances, team-building events and other experiential projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming creative ideas into practical, visually compelling event environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D event concepts, renders and visualisations based on client briefs and creative directions.
Create event space layouts, floor plans, stage designs, booth designs, installations and décor concepts.
Translate 2D ideas, moodboards and creative concepts into accurate 3D environments.
Produce high-quality 3D renders and presentation visuals for client proposals and pitches.
Work closely with Project Managers and Creative Designers to ensure designs are aligned with event objectives, venue limitations and production requirements.
Develop and revise designs based on client and internal feedback.
Ensure designs are practical, buildable and suitable for actual event execution.
Prepare design references, dimensions and other relevant information to support the production and fabrication process.
Conduct site visits when required to understand venue conditions and translate them into accurate 3D designs.
Support the team in developing new creative ideas and visual approaches for events.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience in 3D Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
Proficiency in relevant 3D design and visualisation software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, AutoCAD, Revit, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape or equivalent.
Strong understanding of space planning, scale, proportion and spatial design.
Good visual sense and attention to detail.
Able to interpret creative briefs and translate ideas into compelling 3D visuals.
Able to manage multiple projects and work within tight event deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in event design, exhibition design, retail design, interior design or experiential design will be an advantage.
A strong portfolio showcasing relevant 3D design and visualisation work is required.
