Responsibilities
The R&D team leader is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and accuracy of all renderings and technical drawings. This role requires close collaboration with technicians, merchandisers, sales teams, and production teams to ensure renderings, technical drawings align with client expectations and technical requirements.
Design & Rendering Management:
o Receive customer requirements, analyze, and develop suitable design/rendering concepts.
o Train, coach, and review all renderings to maintain high visual and technical quality.
o Ensure all renderings accurately represent materials (fabric, wood, metal, etc.), including color, gloss, and texture.
o Maintain consistency between technical drawings and rendering images,
o Review and refine images based on feedback from clients and internal departments.
o Work closely with technicians, merchandisers, and sales teams to ensure that technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings meet both structural and aesthetic requirements.
o Ensure work progress aligns with the planned schedule.
R&D Team Management:
o Manage, supervise, support, train and coach team members to ensure high efficiency and good work performance.
o Research and develop new products for Eurofar and customers, focusing on meeting price and quality requirements.
o Improve existing products and provide solutions to product-related issues.
o Research and implement new rendering technologies, software, and techniques to enhance design capabilities.
o Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to improve visualization and product development.
o Build and organize operating procedures for the R&D department to improve the team's productivity and quality.
o Report & Perform other tasks as requested by the direct manager or Board of Directors.
