This is a hands-on, all-rounder accounts role with a primary focus on bookkeeping, BAS work and individual tax returns, plus client administration and workflow management. You will work as an integrated member of our Australian team, processing the day-to-day accounting that keeps client files current and the office moving. Strong, accurate written English is required for internal communication, file notes and following instructions and documentation. This role is internal facing; you will not have direct client contact.

· Location: Sala Town, 87 B4 Str., An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
· Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Sydney Time) / 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Vietnam Time), from Mon to Fri & Sat morning (WFH)
2. Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and BAS (primary focus)
Process bank reconciliations, coding and data entry across client files
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare BAS and IAS for review by the Australian team
Apply correct GST coding and treatment in line with Australian requirements
Process payroll, including Single Touch Payroll (STP) submissions
Maintain accurate, up-to-date ledgers and identify and resolve discrepancies
Client Administration and Workflow (primary focus)
Manage and update jobs in our practice management system, keeping statuses and deadlines current
Collect, organise and file client source documents and records
Track lodgement deadlines and flag upcoming due dates to the Australian team
Handle ATO correspondence administration and update client records
Support client onboarding administration and data setup
Maintain clean, well-documented digital files and workpapers
General Accounting Support (as an all-rounder)
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns for review
Provide ad-hoc support across the broader compliance workflow as required
Prepare and maintain Excel schedules, reconciliations and supporting workpapers
Other Support
- Assist the partner with any other administrative tasks such as research, collating reports, emails & advice work.
Benefits:
Gross Salary: 600 - 750 USD/month (-16-19 mill VND) (Negotiable based on experience) | 2-month probationary period (85% gross), OT compensated according to company policy
Award/Bonus Policy: 13th-month salary, Holiday bonus, performance bonus, birthday, etc.)
Training: Will be provided with a suitable training course.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• 2 to 4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally with exposure to Australian clients or the Australian compliance environment
• Solid working knowledge of Australian GST, BAS/IAS and payroll concepts (or demonstrated ability to learn them quickly)
• Familiarity with Xero (essential), plus exposure to MYOB
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, reconciliations, structured workpapers)
• Accurate, fast and methodical data entry
• Strong written English for internal communication and file notes
• A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred
