Accountant

About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Tax Accounting Section Chief to lead the Accounting Team and oversee daily accounting and tax activities. The role will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, managing tax reporting and finalization, and coordinating with tax authorities and external auditors. The position also provides guidance and support to team members to ensure smooth and accurate accounting operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Supervise and review the daily activities of the Accounting Team.
Manage, assign, and supervise the work of the accounting team.
Review tax invoices and supporting documents to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Oversee the preparation, reconciliation, and tax finalization of VAT, PIT, WHT/FCT, and CIT.
Review tax accounts, prepare periodic tax reports, and manage VAT refund documentation.
Liaise with tax authorities, external auditors, and other relevant parties.
Monitor changes in tax regulations and provide guidance and training to team members.
Perform other tasks assigned by Department Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related discipline, or related fields.
2. Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in Tax accounting.
At least 2 years of experience in a factory environment in a team leader or management position.
3. Skills:
English or Japanese communication level
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365).
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and advanced formulas.
Good knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and tax regulations.
Experience in SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
Basic communication skills in English or Japanese are preferred.
Strong leadership, planning, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
SALARY: Negotiable

Workplace: YKK VIETNAM CO., LTD. - DONG VAN BRANCH, Dong Van III Supporting Industrial Park, Dong Van Ward, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam
Working hours: 08:00 AM - 17:00 PM (Mon to Fri). Saturday morning work is required according to the company schedule (18 Saturdays per year).
