Lead and manage the actuarial valuation function: Oversee all aspects of the actuarial valuation process, including statutory (VAS), and internal model valuations.
Ensure compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant actuarial standards, regulations, and accounting pronouncements, including IFRS 17.
Develop and maintain valuation models: Develop, implement, and maintain actuarial models and methodologies for various insurance products, including life, health.
Supervise and mentor actuarial team: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of actuaries.
Provide technical expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on actuarial matters to senior management, business units, and other stakeholders.
Conduct research and analysis: Conduct research and analysis on emerging actuarial issues and best practices.
Manage relationships with regulators and auditors: Interact with regulators and auditors on actuarial matters.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes: Keep abreast of the latest developments in actuarial science, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
Contribute to strategic decision-making: Provide actuarial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions, such as product development, pricing, and risk management.
Oversee the implementation of new actuarial systems and technologies: Lead the implementation and maintenance of actuarial systems and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

1/ Qualifications:
Education: Fellowship (or nearly) in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent designation is required.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in actuarial valuation or pricing, with a strong understanding of life insurance, health insurance, or other relevant insurance products.
Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in actuarial modeling, statistical analysis, and financial reporting. Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g. Prophet) is a plus.
Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of relevant actuarial standards, regulations, and accounting pronouncements, proficiency in IFRS 17 is a plus.
Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and understanding of the insurance industry and its competitive landscape.
