Position Objective
The purpose of the role is to oversee the program of admissions of new students to the International School Saigon Pearl (ISSP), a member of the Cognita Group of Schools, to maximize quality enrollments and deliver an outstanding customer experience for parents and students. To act as a key brand ambassador for ISSP, understanding the local market, the school's value proposition, appreciating the needs of parents and students and in doing so, together with the Admissions Officer manage a program that effectively sells the schools and converts admissions prospects into strong advocates of ISSP. The position will be measured against clear KPI's, as set by the Head of School and Head of Admissions and Business Development.
Responsibilities
The job holder's responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person's for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School's Child Protection Officer/Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of indeed to the Regional CEP so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third part services.
· Provide accurate and up-to-date weekly reports on Admissions and enrollment numbers to the Executive Leadership Team
· Apply the most updated Policies Procedures into the admissions process
· Propose improvements to HoA as needed to ensure best practice is maintained at all times
· Train and ensure Admissions Officer understand and follow Policies Procedures where applicable and update when needed
· Responds to inquires: phone, emails, school visits in accordance with the schools' SLA
· Work at all (or as requested) admissions/ marketing events to handle inquiries
· Follow up and nurture with prospective families.
· Consult and support families through the Admissions process. (I.e. application, required documentation, appropriate assessments, orientation and enrollments)
· Ensure accurate and timely keeping of students information and records on CSM and shared drive
· Inform the Head of School Office and other departments (IT, Bus, Canteen, ...) of the students' expected arrival date.
· Work with the academic team to ensure accurate grade level placement.
· Handling tasks related to exiting and withdrawal of students
· Place timely order for marketing material
· Keep the Admissions team updated on market/ local knowledge and practices
· Work with Communications and IT on updating templates as needed
· Advise parents on school standards and policies; listening to their concerns and feedbacks
· Escalate matters to appropriate management levels; when needed
· Facilitate senior leadership team in interaction with parents where needed
· Attend management meetings as requested by Head of Admissions
· Attend Parents/ Teachers/ Staff meetings on an as needs basis
· Understand school policies and promote compliance to safeguarding policies
· Build relationships with key partners, affiliates and influencers in the communities locally to support enrolments

Position Requirements
· Experience in customer relations is desirable (preferably at International Schools)
· Proficiency in Vietnamese, English and Korean is desirable
· Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the execution of admissions, and public relations activities.
· Experience in accurately analysing data
· Experience in hiring, and training and managing personnel
· Proven experience in working to a deadline
· Demonstrated skills in working successfully in a collaborative environment
· Must have outstanding communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
· Highly motivated with an eye for detail and quality of work; pro-active attitude and passion for achieving results.
· People Management: Lead, motivate and manage the Admissions Officer - Front of House team to deliver first class customer service to internal and external customers.
· Ensure that the Admissions department is appropriately resourced at all times, working with Head of Admissions and Business Development
· Jointly with Head of School, set annual, monthly and weekly targets for admissions personnel, monitor performance and take appropriate action where performance fall below expected levels
· Devise appropriate training for admissions personnel to enable the team to function at the highest possible level in all areas of responsibility
· Ensure that the Admissions Officer is fully engaged with all aspects of school life
