Position: Admissions Officer
Reports to: Director of Enrolment Management
Responsibilities:
● Support the admissions team by providing a high quality professional customer service to stakeholders regarding enrolment to ensure UNIS as the school of choice in Hanoi;
● Present a welcoming environment to UNIS through effective interaction with the public, prospective parents, students, faculty, community members and visitors to the school;
● Convey and implement approved admissions policies and procedures to community members and prospective families throughout the enquiry, application and enrolment phases;
● Advise new and visiting families on aspects of the school curriculum, school history and events and conduct informative tours of the campus;
● Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, timely processing and digitization of all admissions documentation into the Integrated School's Information System Admissions module in coordination with the administrative team;
● Review all incoming enquiries and applications including the enrolment documentation of applying families for presentation to the Director of Enrolment Management , highlighting any concerns in a timely manner;
● Consult with the Director of Enrolment Management on all aspects of the admissions phase of applicants across EY-12 divisions inclusive of testing, interview and visiting schedules of applicants;
● Coordinate the transition in orientation schedules of prospective families in collaboration with various school divisions to ensure a synchronized welcome for students and their parents to start school;
● Assist the Director of Enrolment Management in coordinating placements at the school by liaising with the school divisions on a range of issues and tasks related to incoming and withdrawing students;
● Provide coverage for the admissions office in the absence of the Director of Enrolment Management, primarily during spring and summer school holidays as required;
● Manage and/or support marketing efforts through open houses, school fairs and feeder school events.

● Undergraduate Degree, major in communications, marketing or business
● Internationally recognised Postgraduate Degree or Professional Qualification
ii. Experience
● 10+ years relevant administrative experience and customer service orientation
iii. Technical Knowledge
● Excellent proficiency in various software applications such as excel and related software systems
● Excellent proficiency in written and spoken Vietnamese and English; Korean and/or Japanese language skills well-regarded
● Knowledge of admissions procedures in an international education environment recommended
