- Financial Due Diligence (financial review and analysis): conduct financial due diligence review to support M&A transactions, either buyer due diligence or vendor due diligence to identify and report on financial and operational performance risks/issues that impact the transactions, including purchase price consideration, deal structuring or deal termination.
- Business Valuation and Financial Modelling: Conduct comprehensive financial projection; perform desktop valuation using various valuation methods including DCF, market comparison. Valuation of special assets: options and intangibles.
- Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory Services: Support in preparation of Teasers, Information Memorandum (IM), financial projections and Management Presentation; Support in buyer/investor and investment target identification and approach.
- Works on client's engagements at field or in the offices as assigned by Executive or Manager.
- Assists AS team members in completion of client projects as assigned by Executive or Manager.
- Establishes and maintains a good and updated economic and industry focused information system.
- Supports Advisory Services teams when needed in different matters regarding company marketing materials, Client info, market/industry info.
- Prepares Proposal, Engagement, Capability statement, Presentations in the Pre-engagement stage.
- Supports Advisory Services (Executive) Manager and colleagues with other assignments.
- Follows up reports (weekly, monthly, etc.).
- Client and Engagement filing.
- Translates business documents where applicable.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by AS (Executive) or Manager from time to time.
- Fresh graduates/ Senior students with degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or business related field.
- Fluency in English, both speaking and writing. Ability to translate to English or vice versa efficiently.
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Internet searching skill.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- True team spirit, self-motivated, and willingness to learn.
- Pro-active, detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Initiative: Demonstrate a thirst to understand how your role fits in and to seek opportunities by yourself to contribute beyond own role;
- Adaptability: Show agility and flexibility to easily adjusts yourself into any change in working situations and develop the understandings the changes on situations;
- Ownership: Take responsibility for own actions and learn from experience.

Grant Thornton Vietnam is an independent member firm of Grant Thornton International and was established in 1993. Initially it was a joint venture with Concetti. In 1997, Grant Thornton Vietnam was converted to a 100% foreign owned enterprise, and opened a branch in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 1998, we officially became a full member of Grant Thornton International. The firm's name was changed to Grant Thornton (Vietnam) Limited in 1999.
In 2007, we proudly met the criteria to audit listed companies.
In 2013, we were more than excited to celebrate our 20 years Anniversary in Vietnam. It has been a gratifying and successful endeavour as we have grown from our first days in 1993 to who we are today. Also in this year, Grant Thornton Vietnam has been listed as the only foreign invested firm that has been permitted to determine the value of 100-per-cent state-owned enterprises by the Ministry of Finance Vietnam.
2014 has marked another milestone. From 1st July 2014, Grant Thornton Vietnam Ltd and Nexia ACPA Auditing & Consulting Co Ltd ("ACPA") are to merge officially. The merged firm will be part of the Grant Thornton global network and will practice under the Grant Thornton name. The merger brings together a leading professional services firm in Vietnam with an excellent combination of professional team of 14 partners and more than 220 professional staff in offices located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2015, Grant Thornton Vietnam was listed as the only foreign invested firm that has been permitted to determine the value of 100-per-cent state-owned enterprises by Ministry of Finance Vietnam. In 2016, we remain dedicated to delivering solutions to meet our clients' current and future needs, and continue to be focused on helping our clients to unlock the growth potential of their business.
In 2018, we are very excited to celebrate our 25 years anniversary in Vietnam.
In 2019, management board welcomed a female Partner; this aligned with the Grant Thornton global strategy in diversity in leadership.
