AI & Automation Engineer

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Collaborate with the onshore team to understand business requirements, use cases, and solution priorities.
Translate functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
Design, develop, test, and deploy AI, machine learning, and automation solutions.
Build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to evaluate feasibility and demonstrate business value.
Develop data processing workflows, predictive models, intelligent assistants, and automated business processes.
Integrate AI and automation solutions with existing systems, databases, applications, and APIs.
Prepare, clean, transform, and analyze data required for AI and automation use cases.
Monitor solution performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve accuracy, reliability, and maintainability.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and technical validation before deployment.
Follow established standards for data security, privacy, access control, and AI governance.
Research and evaluate emerging AI, data science, and automation technologies that may benefit the organization.
Contribute to reusable frameworks, components, and development best practices across AI and automation initiatives.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or process automation.
Strong programming skills in Python and working knowledge of SQL.
Experience with data preparation, feature engineering, model development, testing, and deployment.
Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, and API-based AI services.
Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, web services, or similar technologies.
Understanding of software development practices, version control, testing, and technical documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
