ABOUT THE ROLE
GenAI Fund is looking for a curious, adaptable, and proactive AI Ecosystem & Events Associate to support our AI events, partnerships, and community initiatives.
You'll work closely with our team on programmes such as GenAI Builders Meetup, AI community events, workshops, roundtables, and other activities that connect builders, startups, enterprises, and technology partners.
This is a hands-on internship for students and fresh graduates who want to learn how an AI ecosystem is built. You'll help with research, outreach, marketing, event coordination, and community engagement. You'll receive guidance from the team while taking responsibility for your own tasks and follow-through.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
SUPPORT AI EVENTS
Help plan and coordinate meetups, workshops, and other AI events
Research potential speakers, sponsors, partners, and participants
Assist with invitations, registrations, event materials, and participant communications
Coordinate with speakers, partners, vendors, and the internal team
Support event operations and follow-up activities
Gather feedback and help improve future events
SUPPORT PARTNERSHIPS AND OUTREACH
Research relevant companies and organisations across the AI ecosystem
Help prepare outreach lists, meeting briefs, and partnership materials
Assist with sponsor and partner communications
Track conversations, next steps, and deliverables
Learn how relationships are developed and maintained beyond a single event
SUPPORT MARKETING AND COMMUNITY GROWTH
Help draft event announcements, social posts, and email communications
Work with speakers and partners to promote events
Track registrations and support audience growth
Engage with AI builders, founders, developers, and other community members
Identify interesting people, projects, and opportunities for the community The work will vary from project to project. We're looking for someone who enjoys learning new things and is happy to contribute wherever they can make a difference.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This role is open to current students, final-year students, and fresh graduates. Previous full-time work experience is not required.

Are comfortable reaching out to new people and building relationships
Are organised, dependable, and attentive to detail
Learn quickly and adapt when plans change
Take initiative and ask questions when you need guidance
Enjoy working across different tasks
Experience with student clubs, events, volunteering, marketing, sponsorship outreach, community projects, or startups is a plus. We value what you've done outside formal employment, too.
You do not need to be a technical AI expert. Curiosity, initiative, communication, and reliable execution matter more for this role.
