To realise this vision, we are seeking an elite AI Hardware Systems Engineer to serve as the technical cornerstone of the prototype phase. Key Responsibilities
Hardware Architecture Leadership
Define the end-to-end hardware architecture for a compact AI supercomputing system.
Select and integrate GPUs/NPUs, multi-core CPUs, high-speed SSDs, RAM, PSUs, and next-generation networking modules (1G/10G/25G).
Engineer seamless compatibility with Proxmox, Linux, Windows, and high-demand gaming environments.
Thermal & Cooling Innovation
Lead the design of advanced thermal systems, including precision cooling plates, liquid cooling, and hybrid airflow solutions.
Conduct thermal modelling for sustained AI and gaming workloads.
Collaborate with metal fabrication engineers to unify mechanical, thermal, and aesthetic requirements.
Prototype Build & Technical Execution
Manage the complete prototype lifecycle: component sourcing, assembly, testing, optimization, and rapid iteration.
Oversee subsystem testing, power distribution reliability, firmware tuning, and failure-mode analysis.
Work directly with fabrication partners to refine the physical structure and internal hardware layout.
Performance Engineering
Optimise the system for high-efficiency AI inference, heavy multi-tasking, and peak gaming performance.
Develop scripts and low-level configurations to push hardware to its maximum stable capability.
Deliver a system that is not only powerful but extremely stable, silent, and energy-efficient.
Cross-Domain Collaboration
Partner with the Software/UI Engineer to achieve a true plug-and-play consumer experience.
Collaborate with the Mechanical Engineer to ensure structural integrity, airflow performance, and high-end industrial design.
Serve as the technical authority to the Founder and guide the strategic direction of hardware development.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Core Competencies
1 - 2+ years in hardware systems engineering, embedded computing, or high-performance PC/server architecture.
Deep expertise in GPUs, NPUs, small-form-factor computing, and multi-system integration.
Proven experience designing thermal solutions for high-density hardware.
Strong knowledge of Linux, virtualisation environments, clustering, and containerised systems.
Experience with PCB design tools or the ability to guide PCB contractors.
Demonstrated success in building prototypes from concept to fully operational models.
Leadership Qualities
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking.
High personal standards for precision, reliability, and technical excellence.
Ability to work autonomously and lead hardware strategy in a fast-moving environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
