Air Pricing & Operation Professional

(1) BROAD SCOPE :
The Air Pricing Executive is responsible for sourcing competitive airfreight rates, negotiating with airlines and partners, supporting Sales and Operation with timely quotations, and developing pricing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring service competitiveness. (60%)
Carry out Air Freight Consolidation operational tasks as assigned by the Leader. This position requires solid knowledge and experience in airfreight operations and logistics. (40%)
(2) ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
APS (Advanced Procurement System) Management
• Receive procurement requests and prepare the APS bidding process.
• Invite qualified Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to participate in the bidding.
• Collect, review, and evaluate suppliers' quotations based on pricing, service quality, transit time, and operational capability.
• Conduct cost analysis and commercial evaluation to identify the most competitive solution.
• Recommend the winning supplier and complete the award process in accordance with company procurement policies.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure transparency and compliance throughout the bidding process.
Vendor Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, GSAs, co-loaders, and other logistics service providers (LSPs).
• Negotiate freight rates, capacity allocation, service terms, and commercial agreements with vendors.
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and recommend improvement actions when necessary.
• Maintain an up-to-date vendor database, including pricing, service capabilities, and contract information.
Air Export Operation
• Handle daily air export bookings, including receiving booking requests, securing airline space, entering bookings into carrier systems, and confirming bookings to customers.
• Monitor the end-to-end shipment process, including cargo acceptance, MAWB issuance, shipment tracking, and exception handling.
• Process billing activities, including revenue/cost entries, customer invoicing, and vendor invoice verification.
• Coordinate with internal teams, airlines, agents, and customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve operational issues.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain shipment records in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform weekend duty on a rotational basis to support operational continuity and urgent shipment requirements.
