We are seeking a highly skilled Android Development Engineers with strong expertise across automotive and system‐level domains. In this role, you will work at the Android Framework, HAL, and native layers, delivering robust, high‐performance solutions for next‐generation in‐vehicle infotainment (IVI) and embedded systems.
You will collaborate closely with platform, hardware, and application teams to build stable, reliable, and scalable Android systems across multiple functional domains including media, connectivity, vehicle control, and power management.

You will contribute to one or more of the following system areas:
Media / USB / Camera - Audio/video pipelines, USB stack, camera framework integration
Tuner / DAB / SXM - Digital radio, satellite radio, broadcast media frameworks
System / Stability / Reliability - Framework optimization, ANR/crash analysis, performance tuning
Network & Connectivity - Ethernet, Wi‐Fi, Bluetooth, telematics stack
Communication Middleware - Inter‐process communication, service integration
Vehicle Control - Android Automotive OS, VHAL, vehicle properties
Power / STR (Suspend‐to‐RAM) - Power management, sleep/wake flows, low‐power optimization
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Android Framework and native components
Implement and customize Android Automotive OS (AAOS) features
Work with JNI/NDK, HAL, and system services to integrate hardware functionality
Troubleshoot complex system‐level issues related to performance, stability, and memory
Optimize power consumption and system boot/resume behavior
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including BSP, app, QA, and hardware teams
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science,
Software Engineering, Electronics, or related field
3+ years of experience in Android Framework, Multimedia, USB, or Automotive development
Strong programming skills in C++ and Java
Hands‐on experience with JNI / NDK development
In‐depth understanding of Android system architecture, including:
Framework layer
System services
HAL / native stack
Preferred Skills
Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
Knowledge of Linux kernel and device drivers
Familiarity with AOSP build system (Soong/Make) and Git-based workflows
Experience in automotive standards, infotainment, or embedded systems
Strong debugging skills and a mindset for system reliability and quality
