Android Senior Developer

1. Technical & Architecture

• Design, build, and develop large-scale Android applications serving hundreds of thousands to millions of users.
• Define and standardize Android architecture (MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture, Modularization).
• Make technical decisions related to:
  • App structure
  • Performance
  • Scalability
  • Maintainability
• Proactively refactor and improve the codebase to ensure long-term quality and sustainability.

2. Development & Delivery

• Hands-on development of complex features and core business logic.
• Ensure code quality through:
  • Code reviews
  • Unit tests / UI tests
  • Android best practices
• Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Product, and Design teams to deliver features on schedule.

3. Leadership & Mentoring

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Middle and Junior Android Developers.
• Review and provide constructive technical feedback to team members.
• Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement of Android team workflows and practices.

4. Technology & Innovation

• Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in the Android ecosystem.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve:
• App performance
• Memory usage
• Battery optimization
• App startup time

1. Must-have:

• At least 7 years of experience in Android application development (Java/Kotlin).
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Jetpack.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and/or large-scale View-based UI systems.
• Deep understanding and practical application of:
  • MVVM / MVI
  • Clean Architecture
  • SOLID principles
• Experience working with:
  • RESTful APIs / GraphQL
  • Retrofit / OkHttp
  • Room / SQLite
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Coroutines / Flow
  • Android lifecycle, Activity / Fragment
• Experience with Dependency Injection: Hilt / Dagger / Koin
• Hands-on experience with modularization in large Android projects.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production issue-handling skills.

2. Nice to Have

• Published apps on Google Play with a large user base.
• Experience with Android CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Unit Testing, UI Testing, and TDD.
• Proven experience optimizing:
  • App performance
  • Memory leaks
  • Battery consumption
• Deep understanding of the Android build system (Gradle).
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Ability to propose technical solutions independently and lead the team technically.
