PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The AR Accountant is responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable process by posting transactions, reconciling customer accounts, handling deductions, and assisting with collections. This role ensures timely and accurate reporting, supports smooth cash flow operations, and contributes to effective customer relationship management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Accounts Receivable & Cash App-Processes for all German Entities of Zwilling J.A. Henckels AG
• Recording incoming payments for various customer groups in SAP:
- Direct payments from customers
- Payments from
purchasing associations via payment advices and online-payments
- Payments processed through electronic bank statements ("autobank")
• Verifies offsetting transactions and performs reconciliations (account maintenance); clarifies and records customer deductions (e.g., for returns, price differences, etc.) in SAP.
• Collaborates with internal sales and logistics teams to clarify discrepancies and carry out offsets on accounts receivable
• Processing customer inquiries regarding invoice copies, balance confirmations
• Creation and dispatch of reminders to customers (Dunning Standards)
• Management of cash balances (cash registers and safes of the shops):
- Reconciliation of system-registered receivables in SAP with the cash register system Store Manager from Adega
- Assignment and recording of cash inflows and outflows, and
- Clarification of discrepancies/issues with the responsible contact person.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Successfully completed accounting degree or alternatively comparable studies of Business Admin with degree
• Professional experience > 2 years in Accounting & Finance Subledgers (AP, AR, Payments)
• ERP-System Experience, ideally with SAP R/3 or S4/HANA (FI/CO, MM-Modules)
• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
