About the role
The Associate Director leads strategic consulting engagements that address complex business, workforce and organisational transformation challenges.
The role combines client leadership,
business development and delivery responsibilities, working closely with CEOs, Boards, CHROs and senior
business leaders.
Successful candidates will bring deep consulting expertise, strong commercial acumen and executive presence to deliver sustainable transformation outcomes and grow the People & Change practice.
Key responsibilities
Client Leadership
• Serve as engagement leader for complex assignments across organisation design, business transformation, HR transformation, compensation and benefits, talent management, learning and change management.
• Advise executive leadership teams on organisation, workforce and transformation priorities.
• Provide strategic direction and quality assurance across multiple projects and client accounts.
• Ensure delivery excellence, client satisfaction, risk management and commercial performance.
Organisation Design & Workforce Transformation
• Lead large-scale organisation design, operating model and workforce transformation programmes.
• Advise clients on organisational effectiveness, governance, workforce productivity and restructuring.
• Lead strategic workforce, job architecture and organisational capability discussions with executive stakeholders.
Business Transformation & HR Transformation
• Lead enterprise-wide business and HR transformation programmes aligned with client strategy.
• Advise clients on target operating models, service delivery models, workforce transformation and future workforce strategies.
• Lead HR transformation initiatives including HR target operating models, shared services, centres of excellence, technology enablement and digital HR.
• Support executive sponsors in transformation governance, execution and value realisation.
Compensation & Benefits
• Advise executive teams on compensation strategy, job architecture, grading and reward transformation.
• Lead complex reward, workforce productivity and market benchmarking engagements.
Talent Management & Learning
• Advise clients on enterprise talent strategy, succession planning, leadership development and workforce capability.
• Lead learning, upskilling and talent transformation initiatives.
Change Management
• Lead change strategy and implementation for major business, HR and workforce transformations.
• Advise executive sponsors on stakeholder alignment, organisational readiness, communications and adoption.
• Facilitate executive workshops and leadership alignment sessions.
Business Development & Practice Leadership
• Drive strategic account development, origination and sales pursuits for People & Change services.
• Build long-term relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
• Lead proposals and pursuits for complex opportunities.
• Contribute to practice strategy, market positioning, thought leadership and capability development.
• Coach and mentor managers and consulting teams.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Management or another relevant discipline. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• Professional qualifications in project management, change management, organisational development or human capital are a plus.
• Experience in banking, financial services, FMCG, real estate, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications or other service-oriented sectors is advantageous.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Behavior:
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Significant experience leading large-scale business transformation, HR transformation, organisation design, workforce transformation or change management programmes.
• Candidates from management consulting, corporate strategy, transformation office, organisational effectiveness or human capital consulting backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated experience advising CEOs, Boards, CHROs and senior business leaders.
• Strong track record in client relationship management, origination, sales pursuits and business development.
• Experience leading multiple consulting engagements and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic problem-solving and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate business strategy into practical transformation, organisation and workforce solutions.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel within Vietnam and Cambodia as required.
