Associate Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Leading and establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Involves in continuous improvement and simplification. Ensures compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements. Supports in improving guidelines, tools, and templates.
• Supports local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials. Overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
• Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain Management and successfully procures required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
• Acts as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
• Ensures the project follows and complies with company HSE policies.
• Forecasts schedule to determine if the project is still within defined tolerance ranges and identifies any necessary change requests to drive the closure. Plans and tracks all project activities, establishes scheduling risks and opportunities to deliver projects on time according to commitments to the customer and ABB.
