Position Objective:
• Suppport prepare and control Tooling management system in Autoliv Vietnam (VNQN)
• Prepare and control Software control system in VNQN.
• Minimize cycle time and still keep function and maintain quality of products.
• Provide an instruction manual, software backup, machine drawing to maintenance engineer. Writes procedures, work instruction and standards. To support pre internal audit to support IATF TS16949 and ISO14001
Tasks / Responsibilities: (Main Activities)
• Oversees order launch process, including the development of new product, observe bill of materials, and item masters. Supervises employees in design drafting function of tooling and equipment.
• In conjunction with Engineering and APS simplifies and consolidates engineering standards, active part numbers, and work instruction.
• Do and update manufacturing plant layout and update incoming for any new product and new production line., also support plant lay out for any change included office, warehouse and quality department area.
• Develops and maintains an organized system of part numbers. Eliminates duplicate or obsolete tooling and equipment, Performs data analysis.
• Plans and establishes engineering schedules and follows up on actual performance against estimates.
• Investigates service and applications engineering problems, documenting details and related solutions accordingly.
• Applies systems engineering techniques to automated, improve, and/or re-engineer all aspects of the engineering.
• Supervises the development of plant equipment and design standards.
• Performs office management function of production engineering department. Prepares and manages department and project budgets.
• Knowledge for IATF TS16949, ISO 14001 system and implementation.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor degree in Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field
• 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing experience is required; outstanding candidates with more experience from 3y+ will also be considered.
• With experience in systems engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering preferably in the Automotives industry.
• Experience in designing and manufacturing automation systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
• Skilled in embedded software programming (C/C++, Python, or Assembly).
• Proficient in computer software development (C#, Python, Java, or similar).
• Deep understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, CAN, Ethernet/IP).
• Experience with industrial sensors (e.g., SICK, Keyence) and IoT integration is an advantage.
Skill PLC Programming:
•Develop and optimize PLC programs for industrial control systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar).
•Design complex control logic to operate production lines, machinery, or automated processes.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC programs to ensure stable system operation.
Skill Embedded Software Development:
• Design and program embedded software for microcontrollers or embedded processors (e.g., STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Integrate embedded software with sensors, actuators, and communication with PLCs or other peripheral devices.
• Optimize embedded software performance to meet real-time requirements and resource constraints.
Skill Computer Software Development:
• Design HMI/SCADA interfaces for monitoring and controlling automation systems.
• Develop computer applications (using C#, Python, or similar languages) to collect, process, and analyze data from peripheral devices.
• Integrate software with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.).
Skill Integration with Peripheral Devices:
• Configure and establish communication between PLCs, sensors, IoT devices, and computer systems.
• Ensure stable and secure data communication using industrial protocols.
• Test and troubleshoot communication issues between devices in the system.
Other Knowledge & Skills
• Profifient in program for PLC programs both Omron and Siemens....
• HMI, Touch screen Barcode scanners
• Servo and stepping motor, sensor, pneumatic, hydraulic...
• Vision inspection
• Automation machine
• Comunication protocol such as internet TCP/IP,Profinet, Profi-Bus, Ethercat, IO-Link,Modbus....
• Software coder is plus, undertand embedded programming.
• Proficient in PLC language such as Lader,FBD, ST/STL, SFC, if C/C++ is advance, HMI with Scripting VBS, ANSI-C, VBA.
