Automation Test Software Engineer Cypress

WHAT YOU WILL LOVE DOING

• Participate in all software development activities following Agile methodology.
• Support identify and clarify unclear or inconsistent items in the requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation test suites using Cypress.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure test automation aligns with development practices.
• Analyze test results to identify areas for test automation improvement.
• Implement test automation best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work with development teams to identify and implement automation strategies.
• Write documents and create test reports.
• Participate in customer support activities as needed.
• Research technologies and best practice in software testing and share knowledge with colleagues.

Must have:

• 02+ years of experience as an Automation Testing.
• Experience in writing automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks.
• Able to adjust your working time according to the project schedule.
• Ability to analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Fair command of spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledgeable in B2B e-commerce.
• ISTQB/ISEB certificate.
• Test responsive web application.
• Any database management system (e.g.: MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle...).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation tools.
• Experience in continuous testing in Scrum/Agile/Kanban.
