Role Overview

As a Data Analyst, your core mission is to bridge the gap between complex datasets and strategic business understanding, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports: create and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports and apps.
- Define analytic requirements: work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs and capture requirements, translating business needs into effective BI solutions.
- Guide data extraction and ETL requirements: Partner with our data architect and engineer to determine what data is required and how data is extracted, transformed and loaded.
- Analyse data and generate insights: analyse datasets to uncover trends and patterns, producing clear actionable insights.
- Manage semantic models & documentation: oversee semantic models and documentation, standardise metrics, facts and dimensions, and support users' understanding of the data and their use of analytical tools.
- Ensure data quality & governance: investigate data inconsistencies and anomalies, and work with the business to resolve discrepancies and maintain trusted and secure datasets.
- Optimise performance: fine-tune queries, dashboards and data refresh schedules to ensure scalable, responsive BI tools.
Yêu cầu
- At least 4+ years of professional experience in reporting or analytics roles, demonstrating ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Proven Power BI experience and track record of building and maintaining semantic models, reports, dashboards and apps.
- Proficient at DAX with experience creating custom measures and complex calculations that enable advanced reporting and dynamic modelling in Power BI.
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate Azure - Data Engineer Associate certification is beneficial.
- Experience with Python, Power Query, SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
- Understand Data Warehousing (Kimball, Inmon or Data Vault), star schema data designs.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, modules and processes.
- Proficient English to effectively communicate with international clients.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions and challenges to non-technical users.
