BIM Coordinator/ Technician

ROLE SUMMARY
- Responsible for the coordination and implementation of DKO's BIM and digital construction procedures during a project's design, construction, and handover.
- Assist the BIM Manager through training and providing expertise, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement standards.
- Assist the IT Manager to provide general IT Hardware and Software support.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Project Coordination
- Assist in complex Archicad models and coordination on high-profile projects
- Conduct file-shares, high-level model review, rationalise project libraries, day-to-day BIM coordination and BIM project/server management.
- Collaborate closely with Architects and Interior Designers
- Assist in delivering all stages of projects effectively and efficiently within DKO's BIM platform
- Responsible for providing workflows, problem diagnosis and solutions
- Develop technology strategies and opportunities for improvements to workflows and tools
Support
- Act as first point of contact with BIM related questions from design and delivery teams in the Studio / via Helpdesk
- Provide high level Archicad support to wider DKO user group in accordance with DKO's CAD standards
- Maintain and implement BIM standards
Training
- Induction of new staff and provide training in Archicad
- Proactively identify skills gap within the studio and provide in-house training and upskilling as required
Administration
- Participate in meetings and create reports to assist Global BIM Management.
IT Support
- Work with IT Manager to provide on-site IT support
- General liaison between local office and IT suppliers/Consultants
