Branch Manager (North)

This position will be responsible for the operations of the North Branch (including PUD, Sortation and Fleet function) and reports to National Operations Director, dotted line National Function Managers.
* Responsible for functional OPS performance in the North area
* Responsible for legal formalities support, dealing with Authorities
* Representative of OPS team for meeting/catching up with external Customers
* Manage OPS team in the North
* Interaction to Sales/Commercial team, Finance team, HR team
PERFORMANCE
* To ensure that PUD team and Sortation team met all KPI targets of committed Lead time, no miss PU and line haul connection. To measure the performance of the team
* To run day to day OPS activities, monitor OPS performance, support and provide guidance to their peers. To ensure that team follow the Speedlink/ITL Business Procedures/Policies. To prepare OPS reports for improvement
* To ensure Special Service Shipments and Projects are attended to
* To ensure that the correct shipment categories/routing are allocated to the relevant contractor for PU, Line haul connection and Delivery with cost efficiency in mind
* To attend self-improvement training and recommend team members to the appropriate training/refresh training sessions
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
* To ensure that PUD team and Sortation team at Branch attend to Customer need all times in a professional manner through constant audit program
* To ensure that Customer feedback and enquiries are attended to
* To support dealing with Authorities for all legal formalities in North Branch
* To ensure that all Contractor follow Speedlink/ITL procedures and monitor Contractors performance so that OPS KPI targets are met
OPERATIONS EXCELLENCE
* Assist in the implementation of project for Service improvement and/or cost reduction
* Assist in re-routing on a regular basis in order to optimize route productivity
* Expand knowledge of other roles within Operations in order to carry out these functions through a rotational shift mechanism
* Provides back up for other functions within OPS
* Assists in ensuring the maintenance requirements of the facilities, equipment and infrastructure, in accordance with Corporation and Company images.
* Ensure Security practices and policies that support the business needs are met
