A Brand Manager drives sustainable growth by developing and executing strategies for a brand or group of brands. They focus on innovation and new product development, creating initiatives to boost market share and profit through comprehensive marketing plans. This role involves aligning leaders and collaborating with Consumer Insights, RID, Finance, Sales, Global Marketing, and Industrial teams to optimize product lines and ensure sustainable profit growth.
Description
* Develop a deep understanding of consumers, markets, and competitors.
* Implement research to gather knowledge on sales, competitors, and consumers.
* Lead market research initiatives with the market research manager and agencies.
* Analyze brand issues and opportunities.
* Propose brand objectives and strategies based on detailed analysis.
* Develop the annual marketing plan.
* Create product launch plans with the factory and sales team.
* Develop promotional plans.
* Formulate communication strategies, including digital, and coordinate with the mass marketing factory team.
* Plan and strategize media, including digital, with agencies.
* Collaborate with the sales department and factory to ensure effective execution of marketing plans.
* Analyze the impact, efficiency, and ROI of brand activities and recommend adjustments as needed.
* Identify and qualify new opportunities from market and consumer perspectives.
* Lead the development of mid-term innovation pipelines with the central marketing and factory teams.
* Oversee packaging development.
* Formulate successful selling strategies.
* Manage and monitor the marketing budget for each project.
* Handle necessary paperwork, including contracts with suppliers and government registration for promotions.
Profile
* Minimum 1-3 years as a brand manager or product manager, ideally in FMCG.
* In-depth understanding of consumer insights.
* Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative).
* Proficient in market research.
* Project management expertise.
* Promotion management (recommendation, implementation, analysis).
* Basic experience in innovation and product development.
* Experience in communication and media strategy, and creative development.
* Knowledge of packaging design development.
* Understanding of trade channels, point of sales, and pricing.
* Business steering, including P&L management.
* Strategic planning capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
* Experience in managing agencies.
