The Business Development Associate is accountable to support the development and growth of ACS SBU. The role ensures the effective execution of daily commercial activities, market intelligence, and client support to drive business opportunities.
Working closely with the Regional ACS lead, the associate will manage customer enquiries, coordinate documentation, conduct market surveys and analysis, execute, and support business development initiatives, marketing &
Digital marketing. This role is a key connector between customers, suppliers and internal teams, facilitating smooth operations and contributing directly to segment growth.
Job Responsibilities
1. Segment Development & Market Intelligence
• Conduct market surveys, competitive analysis, and trend tracking for ACS sectors (Precision Engineering, Aerospace, Medical, Electronic)
• Identify opportunities and support product introduction.
• Prepare market reports, customer insights, and recommendations to guide segment strategy.
2. Marketing & Digital Marketing
• Support marketing collaterals
• Digital marketing (website, linkedin, landing page)
3. Product management & Sales Support
• Handle daily customer activities, including enquiries, sample coordination, order follow-ups, and general communication.
• Assist in preparing quotations, product information, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer records, price lists, and sales documents.
4. Business Development Outreach
• Support the team with lead generation, and follow-up on potential customers.
• Coordinate meetings, product presentations, and customer visits with ACS Lead.
• Assist in building pipelines and tracking new opportunities in CRM.
5. Internal Coordination
• Collaborate with Biz Ops and Finance teams to ensure seamless order processing.
• Support the preparation of monthly sales report, forecast, and business reviews.
• Work with marketing to prepare product materials, customer presentation, and event-related activities.
6. Administrative & Documentation Support
• Prepare documentation for price approvals, supplier communication, product registration (if any), and sample tracking.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and documentation standards.
• Support ad-hoc tasks required by ACS lead.
