Dentons LuatViet, a member of the world's largest global law firm, is seeking a dynamic and strategic
Business Development Executive to drive growth across our Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi offices. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and shape the firm's success in Vietnam's thriving legal market.
The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in enhancing the firm's visibility, reputation, and growth. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, managing communication efforts, and driving business development initiatives to attract and retain clients.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Assist lawyers in drafting proposals, pitch decks, and bidding documents in response to RFPs and client mandates.
• Develop customized practice profiles and capability statements based on lawyer or Managing Partner requests.
• Coordinate joint proposals and pitches with Dentons Global, acting as the liaison between the Vietnam office and international teams.
• Coordinate with IT and Finance Department on Client's proposals and client data management platforms.
• Oversee potential client communications and support legal team in client onboarding procedures.
• Plan and support execution of client-facing events, webinars, and seminars in collaboration with legal teams.
• Oversee the firm's newsletter production and distribution; ensure timely legal updates and client alerts.
• Maintain and manage the firm's online presence, ensuring prompt responses to client inquiries via website, social media, and incoming calls.
• Handle and track client referral credit between Dentons offices globally.
• Manage and report on inbound client inquiries, ensuring appropriate follow-up and internal assignment.
• Conduct background research on clients and potential leads to prepare briefs for the Managing Partner and legal teams.
• Conduct industry and market research on a case-by-case basis to support business development initiatives and strategic client targeting.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of business development, sales, or marketing experience, ideally in professional services or legal sectors.
• Experience with proposal management or procurement processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and colleagues, both local and global.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM and marketing software.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and
digital marketing tools is a plus.
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
