The Position
This position is responsible for managing Chinese Cuisine Brands. This person is required to be based in Hanoi that covers North Vietnam. He/She report to the Chief of Franchise Office, and work closely with all Restaurant Management Team of Chinese Cuisine Brands and all key Support Department.
The position holder is expected to contribute to the company through overseeing all aspects of restaurant's daily operations. He/She is to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently, from the front-of-house service to the back-of -house cooking. As a result, this person must be able to juggle many different responsibilities. This person may need to coordinate with vendors and suppliers about new products or services, manage payroll and other human resources issues and oversee marketing efforts.
This person should be able to provide sound business advice, consultative support, plan effectively and work directly with his/her team members. He/She is responsible for coaching and influencing team members to support growth and profitability, serve as the first and main point of contacts and provide liaison between the company and restaurants under his/her charge. This position provides start up support and leadership to new concepts, models and acts in accordance with the company's guiding principles, ensure compliance with the company's standards and provide service deliverables in all functional areas and leverage support from the company when necessary.
The position will be supported directly by Area Managers, Restaurant Management Team, Chefs.
Major Key Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership - Setting Goals for Chinese Cuisine Brand / brands under his/her charge, establishing long term goals and objectives to improve the overall performance of the brand / brands. Developing organizational capability, and modeling how the team works together through :
• Builds a smooth, strong working relationship with Team Members, and Support Department by understanding and addressing needs and concerns.
• Support the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods and practices to promote the company's key messages and achieve a competitive advantage.
• Build credibility with and influences Team Members to achieve Budgeted Goals.
• Ensure that Team members execute operating plans efficiently and effectively through coaching and leadership
• Provide strategic focus and directions for team members through sound business plan and specific Key Performance Indicators ( KPIs )
2. Restaurant Operations - Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operations to ensure profitability of the brand / brands, achieved budget set and compliance with food safety standards and industry regulations, delivering superior guest experience.
• Training staff on appropriate customer service techniques for different scenarios, such as handling complaints about food or service quality.
• Review financial reports to identify ways to improve profitability.
• Reviewing menu with chefs to ensure food quality standards are being met.
• Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy.
• Plan and develop guest loyalty programs.
• Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales.
• Collaborate and partner with IT department, online managers, and other marketing department for the purpose of sales building, creating brand demand, marketing plan, enhancement of strategies across program website, digital and social media, email campaigns etc.
• Branding through campaigns, community programs, and market specific
• Manpower forward planning to ensure sufficient staffing.
• Practice lean management system to ensure restaurant manage effective use of labour deployment and space utilization.
• Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational environment and implementing innovative changes.

4. Education, Experience and Certifications
• Bachelor Degree ( or equivalent ) in business management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant operations ( Chinese Restaurant Brand preferred ).
• Experience and knowledgeable with Chinese dishes, flavors such as dim sum, BBQ meats, steam dishes, seafood.
• Strong ability in developing business strategy, financial and budgetary processes
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant F n B industry trends
• Superior leadership skills, with focus on employee coaching and development
