C++ Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure.

I. What You'll Do
Provide technical support to global researchers by investigating technical issues, debugging Python and C++ code, identifying root causes, and implementing and validating reliable fixes.
Investigate, debug, and optimize C++ applications and data pipelines, focusing on performance, stability, correctness, and maintainability.
Develop and maintain data processing pipelines for structured and unstructured data used in quantitative research and financial engineering.
Develop data validation tools and frameworks to improve data quality, integrity, and pipeline reliability.
Analyze large-scale datasets and collaborate with research teams to identify patterns, insights, and potential opportunities for tradable signals.
Build utility tools that automate development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting workflows.
Explore practical applications of AI/LLM technologies for data processing, technical troubleshooting, documentation, workflow automation, and research support.
Identify recurring technical problems and develop scalable solutions and process improvements.
II. What We're Looking For
4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, AI, or a related technical field.
Strong hands-on experience with C++, including object-oriented programming, STL, memory management, debugging, and writing maintainable production-quality code.
Demonstrated ability to debug C++ applications independently, investigate root causes, analyze performance issues, implement fixes, and verify their correctness.
Practical experience developing data processing pipelines or real-time applications using Python and C++.
Strong proficiency in Python development and data-oriented workflows, including Jupyter Notebook.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, memory management, concurrency, and debugging.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to systematically investigate ambiguous technical problems and turn broad requirements into reliable solutions.
Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, or modern AI approaches, with an interest in applying them to practical engineering and data problems.
Familiarity with AI/LLM tools and their practical applications in engineering, analytics, automation, troubleshooting, or developer productivity.
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, data science, mathematics, or another technical/quantitative discipline.
Strong attention to detail and a mindset focused on correctness, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Curiosity and willingness to learn across software engineering, data, quantitative research, and emerging technologies.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM - 06:00 PM (with a 1.5-hour lunch break).
