Mô tả công việc
1. Work with R&D product development teams:
- Apply best-in-situation sensory methodologies to help develop products in accordance with guidelines from the product development teams
- Keep track of the sensory profile of our products and benchmarks over time
2. Work within CTI department:
- Customize sensory methodologies to meet Masan R&D's needs, resources and time constraints
- Collaborate with other teams in the CTI function to design sensory tests; provide guidance for analysis of sensory data; interpret sensory results and deliver reports on the main findings in order to add value to understanding consumer inputs into innovation projects
- Work with fragrance houses and raw material suppliers as required in understanding and implementing new sensorial product attributes
- Supervise sensory trained panels to perform sensory profiling/mapping for prototypes and finished products. Set-up (internally or externally), where required, train and monitor sensory descriptive panels
- Develop and maintain a functioning sensory data base
- Conducting strategic research in the sensory evaluation domain to support the business
3. Work with QA and factory team:
- Review and support the sensory quality program in the factory, including shelf-life testing
- Supervise the QA panel in performing appropriate sensory tests for quality control
Yêu cầu
Education/Experience
- Master's or higher degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry or Sensory Science or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in or with Home or Personal Care manufacturing companies as a research agency, research center, etc., with a minimum of 2 years of conducting research in sensory and consumer understandings
- Experience in data analysis with actionable business results
- Proven experience leading a project and motivating a team to deliver business results on time and within budget
Key skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in writing technical papers
- Strong attention to detail, organized self-starter/motivated and able to work autonomously
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel; experience with data analysis software such as R, SAS, XLSTAT etc.
