Chemist (Color/polymer)

General Purpose of the Position:
We are looking for a suitable candidate in the position as a Chemist/Color Leader.
The color team develop new formulas to meet customers' requirements and provide to our Inhouse Production for plastic parts in the shoe industry the needed virgin material with pigment and masterbatch timely in the right quantity and quality. We work with challenging colors and materials for shoe items, while the industry is on a turning point of becoming sustainable.
Job Responsibilities/duties:
• Lead the color team in framas Vietnam: Organize work tasks, set targets and evaluations, delegate responsibilities and duties
• Coordinate and follow-up with development team of framas for in-house color development, focusing on new colors or raw materials and necessary test procedures
• Adhere to existing standards and drive improvement Projects to continuously enhance processes, standards and quality
• Establish and maintain masterbatch/pigment suppliers' relations, standardize and improve processes for colorants and additives, and manage quality issues and laboratory checks
• Provide daily updates, prepare reports directly for Board of Directors and attend management meetings
• Ensure team members are well-trained and have access to necessary training materials
• Coordinate and follow-up with Development/Production/Quality teams of framas for all color related topics.
