Chief Accountant - Salary Upto 1700$

Report to : BOD
Primary Function : Responsible over the financial, tax and accounting function of the organization ensuring that financial policies are aligned to the group and financial controls are in place to safeguard the company's assets.
*Main duties and responsibilities:
• Management Accounting and Reporting
o Ensuring compliance with the Group policies and accounting standards.
o Maintain proper accounting records of transactions in accordance with Chinchu Group Accounting policies, Vietnamese law and FRS to enable preparation of accurate and reliable financial reports and financial statements.
o Intercompany balance confirmation and transaction elimination.
o Timely production of management accounts, financial statements, cash flow projections and financial analyses.
o Collection of debts and management of stock aging
o Prepare year end statutory financial statements in accordance with Vietnamese law
o Liaise with external auditors on statutory audit.
• Internal controls
o Put in place sufficient internal controls to safeguard the company assets and to prevent fraudulent activities
o Conduct internal audits in various departments, ensuring controls are in place
o Review all contracts (except employment contracts) and agreements that the organization is a signatory to.
o Report to HQ (suspected) fraudulent activities
• Taxation
o Compilation and submission of tax returns.
• Budgeting and financial planning
o Preparation and submission of annual budget.
o Forecasting of year end results
o Responsible for Feasibility Study (required for all investments)
• Financial partnering to the Line Managers and Management Team
o Analyze financial information and discuss with business unit managers. Highlight variances to budget. Work with managers on corrective actions.
o Review operating capital position with business unit managers.
o Compute allocation of support function costs to the various business units.
• Supervise the accounting staff and responsible for the day to day running of the accounting department.
• Liaise with Principals and customers on financial matters.
• Undertake any other duties in relation to the job scope as assigned by your superior from time to time.
