Chief Accountant

Phee Group currently has an opportunity for a Chief Accountant who would be responsible for accounting activities such as general reporting, transactional tax, treasury activities, etc. and ensure adherence to compliance policies. Joining our team in the Ho Chi Minh office and reporting to the branch manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

- Take general responsibility, organize and operate the accounting system, ensure general accounting activities are done smoothly and in accordance with Vietnamese accounting standards, regulations of the Ministry of Finance and group policies.

- Apply general accepted accounting principles and techniques to perform general accounting activities, classify and record financial transactions and solve routine and non-routine issues.
- Manage tax by maintaining correct tax records and tax payments of all types of taxes as per tax authority.
- Prepare financial reports, tax reports, other reports and accounting books in accordance with the regulations of state management agencies in accordance with Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations of the Ministry of Finance. Submit reports as per timeline.
- Review and approve financial documents and reports, accounting entries, accounting and tax reports according to the regulations of the company, tax department and state.
- To review and provide recommendations/comments from a financial and regulatory perspective on contracts that will be entered by the company"
- Responsible for the management of internal controls over financial accounting: cash receipts, receivables, payables, advances, expenses, fixed assets.

- Manage the financial and tax audits in accordance with the requirements of the various governmental authorities.

- Effectively manage the company's use of funds effectively. Ensure timely receipts from customers and payments to vendors with supporting documents attached.

- Represent the company to liaise with governmental authorities on financial and tax matters"

- Help management to review, analyse and make recommendations upon the preparation of the monthly financial performance report"
- Support HQ Finance in monitoring Financial Matters and making pro-active recommendations for matters relating to cash flow, receivables, finance related regulations and compliance, timely reporting to Board of Directors and Head Finance in SG.
- Provide financial related leadership to VN office management
- Provide update on changes to tax, regulatory, financial and accounting regulations to Board of Directors, Head Finance and Vietnam colleagues regularly.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
